Miss G is up at 3:30 am waiting for the next dose of codeine to kick in. She is not hacking, and there is hardly any drainage!! Yea! Still a bit raspy sounding , but that will come with time!
Snaps to Nutbush Beth for agreeing with my comment about medicine names!! I mean, really, why didn't they just do the full Monty and call "FloMax" "P%$sMore!" Have to admit, "Lodrane" certainly lowered Miss G's drainage!!!
Earn snaps by commenting to Miss G about any other medications you know with "way too literal" names that describe their function! Not made up names- these are real medications for which real doctors write real prescriptions.
Here's an example, though not a funny one. Momma G used to take a synthetic thyroid compound called "Synthroid". Gee, I wonder where they got that clever name?!
