The holidays have always been a special time for Miss Ginger.... as a kid, it brought her family together as Baby G and Momma G crafted and cooked together, and she and Poppa G shopped and spoiled together. She and her brothers dreamed of the toys and treasures they would receive, and as they got older, it was more about music: LP's, 8-tracks, cassettes, and eventually CD's!! Momma G and Poppa didn't live long enough to see the advent of MP3's, but if they had, I know Poppa G would have made sure there was an iPod under the tree for all his boys!!
Now it's special for a different reason. The holidays are the busy season for Miss G and her
employer, and we work long, hard hours to make it happen. It's what we're all about, and it comes with the territory. Miss G has done this for a long time, with many different companies, but she feels compelled to say that
the one she works for now does it better than anyone!
Miss Ginger believes in Santa Claus, and the magic and spirit of the holidays! Do you?

i am not sure if i ever believed in santa, but i believe in the importance of the innocence of children, and how important it is to be able to believe, and to have faith that in this fucked up world, that the power of faith and belief can do good things.

ahump. the hooker gave the john a discount and threw ahump at him for half-price.
I beleieved in Santa, and still do, because some part of that magic can exist in us if we don't get too involved in the spend-spend-sepnd of Christmas, and just enjoy the holidays.
Who didnt believe in Santa? But unfortunatly I have become less and less a fan of the "holidays".
I hate that they have become this over comercialized monster that causes fear and panic about making sure everything is just perfect.
The perfect holiday to me is being with the ones I love, eating good food, drinking good hooch, and laughing till wee hours of the morning. The only gifts allowed are the gifts of joy and laughter!
I absolutely adore the "Yes, Virginia" Macy's commercial. It makes me a little teary!!
XOXOXOXO
Mema Dannelle has always believed! This year it is hard but I will find my Holiday Spirit, I think it is still packed and in the garage with most everything else I love!
You may be my light in this dark world...
Hope it is a great holiday season for you and yours, including your company. I believe in the spirit of Christmas, absolutely.
I love your company- as you know - for years I was involved in one of their major SF fundraising events - the Passport Fashion Show- that I will always associate with Christmas Magic.
And even though its a craptastic year- I am totally excited bout the Christmas season and making magical moments for my kids, friends and family. I am all about Santa, Christmas Faeries, and other magical holiday moments.... I am reaching out and celebrating with friends, family and loved ones
I love Christmas.
When I was a very young child, I remember waking up one night and there, standing in the doorway, was Santa. All I could see was his outline, but I knew it was him.
He just stood there, and I think I fell back asleep.
Thing is, I don't think it was about Christmas time.
So, for some children Santa is very real. He certainly was for me that night.
I remember it so clearly, and it's one of the 2 or 3 things that have happened in my life that I've still never had an explanation for!
Of course, here holidays are vacation. It's only thanks to Gap and Coca Cola (holidays are coming) that "holidays" here in the UK is starting to take on a meaning that could be Christmas. But that reference still puzzles us, and if someone asked what we were doing over the holidays we'd still respond by asking which ones.
It is always Christmas here!
