A Sad, Sad Day...

Cecilia, a 16-year companion to Made in Scotland and his Xfe, left our Earth last night.

And Nike, best friend to my best friend John in New Orleans, also passed on last night, with John at his side.

Miss Ginger is sobbing miserably for both of them right now!!!

Jackson and Shelby are remarkably quiet tonight.

Animals know so much more than we think they do...

I don't know of whom you speak but my heart goes out to them. May they be comforted in knowing that their best friends are frolicking on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

It always hard to loss a pet. A friend of mine, my ex-roomate, loss her grey Mittens kittie was night as well. She was the best cat, full of attitude, and I use to give her a kittie bar allowance for the weekends! She had a good 15 years!

Being such a dog and cat household, my heart always breaks when I hear of someone losing a pet.

It really is difficult to loose our companion animals; they are as much a part of our life as anyone else is. I'm sad that your friends have to endure this right now Miss G.

I'm not surprised Jackson and Shelby were quiet. Animals have great senses and they know when things aren't quite right.
